Let’s talk about the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, better known as

Obamacare, and previously known as Romneycare…

This past week the US House of Representatives voted to repeal

the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT...This is the 33rd time that the US

House has voted down all or parts of this law...

Why? What is behind all of this?

According to the latest Quinnipiac poll, most of the country---

56%---believe the law to be a tax hike; yet and still, more support

it than do not---48% favor this new law, while 45% oppose it...

Why do so many oppose a law which has ownership of private

health insurance plans at its heart? This differs strongly from

the widely-accepted and longstanding MEDICARE system, which

is a single -payer insurance program delivered by the federal

government...

Will this continue to be an issue in 2012 politics and beyond? Or,

will this law stand and evolve over time?

Joining us today are…

President of NOW...
